Field Vs. Frequency

(Γ Version 4.0.5β)

An ESR Frequency Calculator

This page is just for convenience. Since I am more adept at NMR frequencies I put this up to look at ESR frequencies. The following equation expresses the relationship between the electron g-factor, the static field strength, and the spectrometer frequency.

Here, g is the g-factor(unitless), H the static field (Gauss), and n the frequency (Hz). The Bohr magneton, b is equal to 9.2740154 x 10-21 erg/Gauss and of course Planck's constant, h is equal to 6.6260755 x 10 -27 erg-sec/cycle. The g-factor for a free electron is 2.002319304386.
